Build stronger mental Maths in a few minutes a day.
Children work through levelled challenges in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division as part of EBA Skills. Questions begin simply and become more varied as their accuracy improves.

Practise the building blocks of mental Maths.
Each operation has its own level path, so children can strengthen one area without being pushed too quickly in another.
Addition
Build fast recall with number bonds, sums and mixed addition questions.

Start small. Move up when they are ready.
Early levels use smaller numbers and familiar question types. Later levels introduce more variation and quicker recall, but the aim stays the same: answer accurately, then build speed.
Level 1: A gentle starting point with small numbers and familiar facts.
Accuracy first. Speed follows.
Working quickly only helps when the answers are right. Speed Maths encourages children to build reliable number facts before trying to beat their previous score. Mistakes receive immediate feedback, so the next question becomes another chance to get it right.
See what they practised and how it went.
Each result records the operation, level, number of correct answers, accuracy and personal best. That gives children a clear result and gives parents a simple view of what is improving.
Beyond mental arithmetic
Speed Maths is the first part of a wider Maths practice library.
The next stage of Exam Bytes Academy Maths will add topic practice across number, fractions, decimals, percentages, measurement, geometry, statistics and problem solving.
Each new area will be added when it is ready to use properly.
