2. Who enters the contract
The adult account holder accepts EBA’s Terms and Conditions using an unticked checkbox. A child does not enter the contract or take responsibility for subscription payments.
Tutors may use free accounts professionally under the same Terms. EBA does not currently sell paid plans to schools or tuition companies. Organisation-administration features, where available, do not create a paid organisation plan.
3. Billing and cancellation
All EBA trials offered are completely free. Checkout is provided through Stripe and states whether a trial converts to a paid plan, together with the first payment date and amount.
Recurring subscriptions can be cancelled through Manage subscription. Scores and progress connected with cancelled paid access remain for no more than 30 days after access ends.
4. Account deletion and inactive profiles
An account deletion request can be sent to support@exam-bytes.co.uk. A verified restoration request may be made during the 30-day deletion window. After the window, ordinary account and learning information is deleted or anonymised.
Profiles inactive for 12 months may be closed and moved into deletion.
5. Tutor connections
A tutor connection becomes active only after both the parent or guardian and the tutor approve it. Either can revoke it. EBA may remove a connection for safety, privacy or security.
6. Complaints
EBA acknowledges complaints within seven business days and aims to give a substantive response within 30 business days. If a complaint remains unresolved, the complainant may seek independent advice or use any court, regulator or other complaint route available to them.
